Overview

The Reports Preview in Cornerstone has been updated to be more user-friendly. You can now clearly see whether you selected to run the report "to print" or "to email," and you have the option to cancel before printing or emailing.

How to Print a Report

Step 1: Click Run Report

Step 2: The report preview will be generated

Step 3: From the report preview, choose one of the following:

  • Click Print to send to your printer
  • Click Cancel to abort the print job
  • Click Email Instead of Print to switch to email mode

The report will be sent to Uniprint for printing when you click Print.


How to Email a Report

Step 1: Click Email Setup

Step 2: Enter the email address(es) to receive the report

Step 3: Click OK

Step 4: Click Run Report to generate the report for emailing

Step 5: From the report preview, choose one of the following:

  • Click Email Report to send the email
  • Click Cancel to abort sending

  1. Always Preview: Take advantage of the preview to catch errors
  2. Check Recipients: Verify email addresses before clicking Email Report

  4. Switch When Needed: Use "Email Instead of Print" if you change your mind
  5. Multiple Emails: Separate multiple email addresses with semicolons or commas

Common Scenarios

Scenario 1: Need to Print and Email

  • Run report to print first
  • Click Print for printer copy
  • Run report again with Email Setup for email copy

Scenario 2: Change Mind After Preview

  • Generate report for print
  • Preview shows an issue
  • Click Cancel
  • Make corrections and regenerate
