Overview
Filtering for receipts posted by Cornerstone versus receipts posted by your office is now easier with an improved report interface. The posting origin filter has been moved to the main Cash Receipts Report screen for quick access.
What's New
The Report Filter selection for the origin of postings/receipts is now located on the main Cash Receipts Report screen, making it much more accessible than before.
How to Use the Filter
You can now easily choose between:
- Local Postings (*) - Receipts posted by your office
- Cornerstone Postings - Receipts posted by Cornerstone
- All Postings - View both local and Cornerstone postings together
Common Use Cases
Matching Bank Deposits
Scenario: You need to reconcile your bank deposit with what was processed in your office.
Solution: Filter for Local Postings to see only the receipts your office posted, making it easy to match against your physical bank deposit.
Reviewing Cornerstone Processing
Scenario: You want to see what payments Cornerstone processed on your behalf (such as automated credit card or ACH payments).
Solution: Filter for Cornerstone Postings to view only the payments processed by Cornerstone.
Complete Reconciliation
Scenario: You need a full view of all receipts for accounting purposes.
Solution: Select All Postings to see the complete picture of all payments received, regardless of posting origin.
