Overview
Windows Credentials Manager allows you to set up and store Remote Desktop Credentials, so users only need to enter their internal User ID and Password to log in to Cornerstone.

Step 1: Access Credentials Manager
From the Windows Taskbar, click Search and type one of the following:
- "Credentials Manager"
- "Windows Credentials Manager"
- "Manage Windows Credentials"
Click Manage Windows Credentials.
Alternative Method: Go to Search > Control Panel > Credentials Manager
Step 2: Access Windows Credentials
From the Windows Credentials Manager window, click Windows Credentials.
Step 3: Add New Credential
Click Add a Windows Credential.
Step 4: Enter Connection Details
Fill in the following fields:
Internet or Network Address:
- Enter:
connect.cfibilling.com
User Name:
- Enter:
CFIBILLING\XX1(where XX is the dealer code and the user number)
Password:
- Enter: User Password
Step 5: Save Credentials
Click OK to save the credentials.
Step 6: Edit Remote Desktop Connection
Find the RDP connection icon for Cornerstone and edit the Remote Desktop Connection.
For Windows 10:
- Right-click the RDP Connection icon
- Left-click Edit
For Windows 11:
- Right-click the RDP Connection icon
- Left-click Show More Options
- Click Edit
Step 7: Configure Connection Settings
Computer Field:
- Enter:
connect.cfibilling.com
User Name:
- Enter:
CFIBILLING\XX1(where XX is the dealer code and the user number)
Always Ask for Credentials:
- UNCHECK this box
Step 8: Save and Connect
- Click Save
- Click Connect
If everything was set up correctly, you should connect directly to Cornerstone and AlarmWin. The user now needs to enter their internal User ID and Password.
