How to Apply a Quick Credit to an Invoice

You can apply a quick credit to an entire invoice or to an individual line item directly from the customer's account.

  1. From the customer account, click Invoice History.

  2. Highlight and select, or double-click, the invoice.

  3. Highlight the specific line item you want to apply the credit to.

  4. Click Quick Credit.

  5. Choose one of the following options:

    • If applying the credit to the entire invoice, select "To Invoice."

    • If applying it to a single line item, select "To Line."

  6. Enter the $ amount of the credit.

  7. Enter the Category of Credit.

  8. Add any relevant Descriptions.

  9. Click OK to apply the credit.

  10. Click OK to save the invoice.
