Overview
This guide explains how to view the history and activity for a specific credit. There are two ways to do this: directly from a customer's account, or by running a dedicated financial report. Use whichever method is most convenient for your workflow.
Method 1: From the Customer Account
Use this method when you are already working within a customer's account and want to quickly review credit activity without navigating to the Reports menu.
- Navigate to the customer's account.
- Click Credit History.
- Highlight the specific credit you wish to review.
- Review the "Credit Activity" section located at the bottom of the screen.
Method 2: Using the Reports Menu
Use this method when you have a specific credit number and want to pull a dedicated report showing full credit details.
- Click Reports.
- Click the Financial Tab.
- Select Credits By Number.
- Enter the credit number in both the "Credit # Range (Min)" and "(Max)" fields.
- Click Run Report.
- Review the report — it will display the full credit details.
? TIP
To look up a single credit, enter the same credit number in both the Min and Max fields. This ensures the report returns results for that exact credit only.
