Bill To Address Search

Modified on Thu, 23 Oct at 11:17 AM

Learn how to look up customers by their Bill to Address using two different methods.

Method 1: Customer List Search

Use this method to search for a specific customer by their billing address.

Steps:

  1. When you are in the Customer List screen, choose the Searches icon
  2. Select the Name/Address option
  3. Type in the bill to address in the Street Address 1 field
  4. Be sure the "Search Site/Bill To Info" box is checked
  5. Click OK to search for the Customer's bill to address

Method 2: Management Reports

Use this method when you need to search on a broader level - when inquiring on multiple accounts that have separate bill to addresses.

This option allows you to search for all of your customers with a bill to address or filter by open or closed status.

Steps:

  1. Click on the Reports icon near the top left of your screen
  2. Under Management Reports, click on the Bill to Address report
  3. Choose whether you want to search for:
    • All of your customers with a different Bill to Address
    • Only those that are of an Open status
    • Only those that are of a Closed status
  4. View the report

Understanding the Report

The report distinguishes between the two addresses by separating them into two columns:

  • The billing address is the first column to the right of the customer number
  • The site address appears in the second column

This makes it easy to see which customers have different billing and site addresses at a glance.
