Turn Multiple Reminders into Tickets at Once

Modified on Wed, 8 Oct at 4:04 PM

Overview

The calendar has been updated with a new feature that allows you to create tickets for multiple reminders at once, eliminating the need to convert them one at a time. This bulk conversion feature saves significant time when processing multiple reminders.

How to Convert Multiple Reminders to Tickets

Step 1: Use the calendar filters to select the reminders you want to convert

Step 2: Right-click on any reminder, then click Tag All

Step 3: With all records tagged, click Tagging Actions

Step 4: Click Create Tickets from Reminders

Step 5: When all reminders have been processed, you will be notified of the number of records processed

Benefits

  • Convert multiple reminders to tickets in bulk
  • Save time by avoiding one-by-one conversions
  • Process large batches of reminders efficiently
  • Reduce manual data entry and clicking
  • Streamline workflow for dispatchers and schedulers

Best Practices

  • Use calendar filters to narrow down to specific reminders before tagging
  • Review the reminders you've tagged before creating tickets
  • Process reminders in logical batches (by date, technician, or type)
  • Check the confirmation message to ensure all records were processed

When to Use This Feature

This feature is particularly useful when you need to:

  • Convert multiple service reminders to scheduled work orders
  • Process a batch of follow-up reminders at once
  • Prepare weekly or monthly schedules from reminders
  • Handle end-of-day or end-of-week reminder conversions
