Text Reminders and Survey Requests

Overview

You can now text or email customers appointment reminders and survey requests, improving customer communication and gathering valuable feedback after service completion.


What You Can Do

  • Appointment Reminders - Send text (to SMS-capable phone numbers) or email reminders for upcoming appointments
  • Survey Requests - Request customers fill out a survey when a ticket is completed


Getting Started with Service Texting

Prerequisites and Requirements

Before activating texting, you'll need:

  1. Signed Addendum - Cornerstone requires a signed Addendum to your existing Billing Agreement to ensure you understand the implications of using this feature

  2. Compliance Understanding - Due to strict FCC and FTC rules and potentially severe penalties:

    • NO MARKETING TEXTS MAY BE SENT THROUGH THIS FEATURE
    • This feature is for appointment reminders and service-related communication only
  3. SMS Number Verification - Required for activation (minimal pass-through cost)

Pricing

  • Monthly Fee: $10/month minimum
  • Included: Up to 300 texts per month
  • Additional costs for SMS number verification (pass-through cost)


How to Send Appointment Reminders

Step 1: Prepare Your Appointments

Schedule your appointments and tickets as usual.

Step 2: Select Appointments to Remind

  1. Click List Display of Schedules
  2. Tag the appointments for reminders (scheduled events)

Step 3: Send the Reminder

  1. Click Text/Email
  2. Choose the reminder function
  3. Customize the phrase you wish to use
  4. Send to customers

Customers can confirm their appointments directly from the text or email.


How to Send Survey Requests

Step 1: Select Completed Tickets

  1. Click List Display of Schedules
  2. Tag the completed tickets you want to survey

Step 2: Send the Survey Request

  1. Click Text/Email
  2. Choose the survey function (upon ticket completion)
  3. Customize the phrase you wish to use
  4. Send to customers
