Ticket Pull List for Service Items

Modified on Wed, 8 Oct at 4:05 PM

Overview

You can now print a Ticket Pull List or Pick List of service items to assist with picking inventory items needed for service tickets. This streamlines your parts preparation process and ensures technicians have everything they need before heading to a job.

What's Included

The Ticket Pull List shows:

  • All service items on the ticket
  • Items that are short (none available in inventory)
  • Checkboxes to confirm you've pulled each part

Method 1: Print from a Service Ticket

Step 1: Prepare the Ticket

Create a new service ticket and add your parts to the service items, or open an existing ticket that already has service items.

Step 2: Generate the Pull List

Click Ticket Pull List from within the service ticket.

The printed list will display all service items, including any that are short on inventory. You can check them off as you pull each part.

Method 2: Print from the Calendar

This method is ideal when you need to prepare parts for multiple service appointments at once.

Step 1: Access the Schedule List

From the calendar, click List Display of Schedules.

Step 2: Select Tickets

Click the checkbox to tag the tickets you want to print a Ticket Pull List for. You can select multiple tickets at once.

Step 3: Generate Pull Lists

Click Ticket Pull List.

Step 4: Print or Email

You can:

  • Print the PDFs directly
  • Email the PDFs to someone else (such as warehouse staff)

Important:

  • A separate page will be printed for each tagged ticket
  • If service items don't fit on one page, multiple pages will be printed for that ticket

Key Benefits

  • Improved Preparation - Know exactly what parts to pull before technicians leave
  • Inventory Visibility - Immediately see which items are short or unavailable
  • Reduced Trips - Ensure technicians have all necessary parts the first time
  • Efficient Workflow - Pull parts for multiple tickets at once from the calendar view
  • Team Coordination - Email pull lists to warehouse or inventory staff

Use Cases

  • Daily Service Preparation - Print pull lists for all scheduled appointments each morning
  • Warehouse Coordination - Email pull lists to inventory staff for advance preparation
  • Inventory Planning - Identify short items before technicians need them
