How to Enter Time on a Service Ticket

You can enter time on a service ticket either from the desktop application or directly through the technician's mobile app.


On Desktop

  1. Open the Customer Record.

  2. Click the Appt/Svc History tab.

  3. Open the relevant ticket.

  4. Click Time Card.

  5. Click Insert.

  6. If no technician is assigned, select one from the Employee ID Field.

  7. Enter the Time In and Time Out or the Total Minutes.

  8. Ensure the correct Rate Code is selected.

  9. Click OK to save.


In the App (as a Technician)

  1. Click the Menu (Hamburger) icon.

  2. Select Calendar.

  3. Click the Filter Icon.

  4. Edit the date parameters to include the date the ticket was scheduled.

  5. Change the Status to "ALL" (if the ticket was already completed).

  6. Click Apply.

  7. Click on the ticket.

  8. Click Clock In.

  9. Edit the time if needed.

  10. Click Clock In again.

  11. Repeat the steps with Clock Out to complete the time entry.
