This guide explains how to use the Batch Print feature to efficiently generate and distribute tickets via print or email for internal purposes, such as sending all of a technician's assigned work orders for a specific date range.
1. Accessing the Batch Print Menu
Navigate to the Tickets menu.
Select Batch Print.
2. Setting Up the Ticket Content
The first step is to select which information you want to include on the generated tickets. Since this is often for internal staff (like technicians), you can include detailed information.
Select the options you wish to include (e.g., Letterhead, Zone Descriptions, Service List, Customer Notes, Central Station Info, Labor and Timecard section, etc.).
Tip: Choose as much or as little detail as required by your internal users.
3. Defining the Tickets to Process
Use the filtering options to specify which tickets you want to generate:
| Field | Description |
| Date Ranges | Enter the Start Date and End Date for the tickets you wish to include. |
| Print Tech | Click the dropdown and select a specific technician if you only want to process tickets assigned to them. Leave blank to include all technicians. |
| Ticket Title | Select a specific job type (e.g., Install, Inspection, Service). Leave blank to include all job types. |
| Print Status | Select whether you want to process Unprinted Only, Printed Only, or All tickets (Printed and Unprinted). The default is typically Unprinted Only. |
4. Selecting Print or Email Distribution
Choose how you want the tickets to be delivered:
In the Print or Email dropdown field, select your preferred method: Print or Email.
Batch Emailing to Technicians
If you select Email, an additional field will appear to manage the recipients:
To email all tickets to a single person (e.g., a supervisor): Select the technician/user's name from the dropdown.
To email each ticket to its assigned technician: Leave the technician dropdown field blank. The system will automatically email each ticket individually to the technician assigned to that specific ticket.
Batch Printing
If you select Print, the tickets will be generated and sent to your default printer as a batch.
5. Initiating the Process
Once all your selections are complete, click Print Ticket to kick off the batch printing or emailing process.
