Creating and Printing Labels

Getting Started

We recommend that you delete any previously created label formats and start with new formats.


Creating New Label Formats

Steps:

  1. Choose Inquiry/Mail > Create Label Formats
  2. Click Insert to create a new template
  3. Name that template
  4. Use the Label Group pull-down to choose from common Address/Specialty/Card Products
  5. The list of supported Label Types has been vastly enhanced - choose your Label Type
  6. Click Copy Label Formats, which fills in the label requirements
  7. You now have your new label format ready to use in Customer Inquiry/Mail Merge


Using Your Label Format

When ready to print:

  1. Make sure to choose Document Type LABELS
  2. Select the correct Label Type


Printing Labels

Using UniPrint

When printing via UniPrint, make sure to SAVE the document first.

Critical Printer Settings

When printing any of the label formats make sure to use your printer's:

  • Actual Size, OR
  • No Scaling, OR
  • Page Scaling=NONE parameters

Do NOT let it default to:

  • Shrink oversized pages
  • Shrink Large Pages

Using these guidelines will ensure perfect labels!

Printer Settings Note

Please note that all printer Page handling parameters are different. Please review your Printer manual for details on locating these settings in your specific printer's dialogue screen.
